We don't do on-line ordering as we find many of our customers like to have advice before ordering. Calls may be recorded for training and your security.

PAYMENT

Payment by credit/debit card preferred (sorry, no American Express)

To order via credit/debit card please telephone with the following information to hand:

Card Holder Name & Address to which the card is registered (including postcode).

Card number, expiry date & issue number (if applicable).

3 digit security number on reverse of card.

For security reasons do not email your credit card details to us

Trade Counter - payment on collection.
Delivery by carrier - payment by card, BACS or cheque in advance against pro-forma invoice
Delivery by us - payment on delivery.

DELIVERIES

Unless otherwise stated prices on this web-site do not include delivery. Delivery is charged at cost - we do not make a profit on delivery. You will be advised of the delivery charge in advance when placing an order. Deliveries are made between 0800 & 1730 hrs. You must advise us if there are restictions on delivery times.

Orders for items in stock ordered before 1200hrs will usually be delivered next working day. We also offer "before 10AM" & "Saturday AM" deliveries at extra charge.

Our delivery drivers & carriers take care with your deliveries. In the unlikely event that outer packaging appears damaged in any way please inspect the goods while the driver waits. If goods are damaged, sign for as "damaged" and contact us. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 3 days.

Deliveries for slatwall, cabinets & counters and other palletised goods: These are often made by articulated lorry. You must advise us if lorry cannot get to within reasonable distance during normal working hours or delivery will be to kerbside.
You are responsible for unloading! Drivers are unaccompanied & are not obliged to help with unloading so you will need to have adequate manpower. In practice many drivers will assist and sometimes a tail-lift vehicle is used so that the pallet can be left for you to unload at your leisure. Failure to notify us of any restrictions can result in failed delivery & additional delivery costs.

Further information for large slatwall boards: If you haven't handled large slatwall boards you may be surprised at how heavy & awkward to handle they are. For large amounts of slatwall delivered by lorry you will need two fit, strong people i.e. not those re-covering from recent heart operations, your mother, etc (yes, it has happened). This is so that the driver can slide the boards down off the lorry to two people. For small amounts or large amounts delivered in our own van one fit person will be required.

If in doubt ask for more information or use 1200 x 1200 boards.

Unless otherwise stated all prices on this web-site exclude VAT.

All dimensions quoted are nominal dimensions - please contact us for exact sizes where space is limited - It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items ordered are the correct size.

We operate a policy of continuous improvement and reserve the right to make alterations to goods/services offered without notice.

Title: Title to goods remains with KAS Shopfitting Ltd until payment is received in full

Although we hold extensive stocks we do not guarantee to stock any item - please check availability before travelling to our premises.

Delivery dates though given in good faith are estimates only and are subject to the relevant stock being available. We accept no responsibility and the purchaser has no right to cancel the order if delivery is delayed unless we have specifically agreed in writing to deliver on a particular date.

Returns: Special purchase/custom items are not returnable. Other items may be returned only with our prior consent and at customers cost plus 25% re-stocking charge.

Our liability in respect of damaged/delayed goods shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods (excluding VAT) and our liability shall in no event extend to consequential or indirect loss or damage, loss to third parties or loss of business. However, liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence is not excluded or restricted.
